Before LIMINALE existed, we were two people who loved clothing and were always looking for pieces we could connect with. We couldn't find what we had in mind, so we started creating it ourselves. LIMINALE is for everyone who recognises that feeling.

LIMINALE comes from liminality: the space between where you were and where you are going next. We believe people are never just one fixed version of themselves. What you wear changes how you feel, how you carry yourself and how you present yourself to the world. It can make you feel more confident, more powerful, or simply more like the person you want to be in that moment.

We wanted that transition to be visible in the pieces themselves, which is why contrast is such an important part of the way we design. Our pieces combine what would normally exist separately: something refined next to something raw, a sporty fabric next to something elevated. Instead of choosing one direction, we create something new in the space between.

That space is LIMINALE.

Every piece goes through countless versions, discussions, samples and fittings before it reaches you. So when you wear LIMINALE, you carry something we have put a part of ourselves into. But it is the person wearing it who gives it its character.

LIMINALE was founded by a man and a woman, and both perspectives shape what we create. We want everyone to feel powerful in what they wear, and women to never feel like they have to tone themselves down. To us, confidence is not about being louder than everyone else, but about knowing your worth and standing by it.
